stickyeyelids:

For 17 years I always thought there was a word ‘dutifully’ and it was pronounced ‘dut・ee・full・ee’ and in my mind it meant ‘a near silent wishfulness that resembles a butterfly’s flapping wings’, but the day before yesterday I realised my word ‘dutifully’ was actually the word ‘dutifully’ and is pronounced ‘dute・ee・full・ee’ and means ‘out of a sense of duty; in a dutiful manner’ and this made me sad because I didn’t like this definition, so I walked around the house dutifully and a little bit angry and decided that my wishes can come true if I want them to and the butterflies told me their wings were still flapping even if I couldn’t hear them and that they have always been flapping and will always be flapping and that I can have any word I want to if I want to.
