can i just tell a story really fast?
inhishands: flowersforhamlet: so I have the song “I’ll make a man out of you” as a ringtone. Annnnnd I set it as my alarm. So I woke up, heard the intro and then popped straight up and sang “LET’S GET DOWN TO BUSINESS *pose* to defeat *pose again* the *punch* Huns *punch.* HIYAHHH.” probably one of my better ways to wake up. This made me smile so big.

certainties: dad (56 years old) just popped his head into my bedroom and told me he’d been listening to some music in a shop so he’d bought the album and i might like it. “you can borrow it”, he told me “but i want it back. it’s such fun!” and threw the vampire weekend album onto the foot of my bed.
